MIFUMI as a Non-Governmental Organisation is working to protect women and children from domestic violence through: Providing legal aid services to cases of Domestic Violence and Bride Price Violations Providing advice and support on domestic violence to women and children about their personal safety and development. Addressing issues of HIV/Aids and poverty. MIFUMI has also come up with programs that lead to development in terms of providing support through; · Income generating activities. · Skills development for people. · Fair trade though businesses. · Building strong support group.
