MIFUMI extends services such as Counselling support, Medico-legal advice and Hand-held support for survivors to duty bearer offices. Also as part of the processes for securing safety, rights and freedoms of women and children, MIFUMI has embarked on a number of advocacy campaigns targeting community cultural institutions and its custodians, policy makers, law enforcement and justice administrators.
MIFUMI has initiated economic empowerment programmes like micro-credit schemes and other income generating ventures to enable women out of situations of abject poverty.
MIFUMI ensures that even the very poor in rural Uganda enjoy the basic rights to health and education through the Mifumi Health Centre and Mifumi Primary School
MIFUMI believes in equal opportunities and ensures this by main-streaming the needs of marginalised groups that include people with disabilities and people living with HIV/AIDS
